The Pumpkin Maiden’s Song

I am the Pumpkin Maiden

I dance beneath the Harvest Moon

And when the bats come out to play

We dance all of our cares away

It’s harvest time in orchards and the fields

Apples on branches, squashes on the vine

Vegetable spirits travel in the air

So light your candles, let them shine!

I am the Pumpkin Maiden

I curtsey to you, you bow to me

We hop and skip, while Spiders strum guitars

All the Earth is singing in delight

We celebrate harvest underneath the stars

I am the Pumpkin Maiden

Crickets chirp, coyotes howl

So heat up cider and  pop the corn

All Hallow’s Eve is a pumpkin’s delight

Let’s feast and frolic until the morn
